I found this fill in the blank thing on a friends blog and I really enjoyed hers. So I thought I would do one for me and post it. Those of you who have a blog, you should try it when you have time.
i am: a daughter of the King!
i think: that I don’t think as much of my thinking ability as I used to think.
i know: that I am truly blessed!
i want: a long, healthy, joy filled life with my husband and family.
i have: everything I need and more.
i pray: that others will see Christ in me.
i hate: the sin in this world.
i miss: the Oklahoma hot summer sun.
i hear: worship music coming from my computer.
i smell: the lingering smell of supper.
i crave: a nice gooey brownie with vanilla ice cream and raspberries on top.
i search: for more of Christ in my life.
i wonder: where God is leading in our life.
i regret: not telling more of my friends about Christ.
i love: my family and friends.
i like: cute cuddly things
i ache: at a world hurting, wandering and lost.
i care: about people.
i always: love my husband.
i am not: perfect.
i believe: the absolute truth of God’s word.
i dance: because He has done great things!
i sing: because He has put a new song of praise on my lips.
i don’t always: trust God the way I should or remember that God is always working behind the scenes.
i fight: to keep the thermostat where I need it.
i win: once in awhile.
i lose: when I play trivia games with Vince.
i confuse: myself and my husband
i listen: to God’s word, good music and the sounds of nature outside my window at night.
i can usually be found: at home or hunting down a good bargain somewhere.
i am scared: of spiders, snakes, anything creepy.
i enjoy: doing creative things.
i need: love, hope and Christ.
i am happy about: my life.

Just Call Me Madame Blueberry
You are looking at the 31 pounds and some odd ounces of blueberries that Vince and I picked Thursday afternoon.
We found this lovely blueberry farm outside of Ann Arbor so we decided to drive up there.
Four hours after we got there we drove away with a trunk full of berries that I am now in the process of finding room for in our freezer. I think we should be good on berries for awhile.
But Raspberry season starts the end of this month so I have a feeling another picking session is in our future. Where does one store all this?
We really enjoyed picking them and have equally enjoyed munching on them. They are so good!!!! Yummo!
Picture of the Park
Right after I got home, Vince and I took the afternoon to enjoy the beautiful weather we've been having. We went to a local nature park to breath in the fresh, clean air and enjoy the wonder of God's creation. It was so peaceful and quiet and we got in quite a bit of walking. It felt good.
Here are some pictures for you to enjoy so it'll be like you were there too.
You'll have to imagine the sounds of nature and the gentle breezes. Sorry, I can't blog that.

Trip Recap
Most of you know that I am home from my month long visit in the midwest.
Instead of going to bed at a decent time tonight, I decided to stay up and put a photo slideshow together for you. Aren't you all so special?
I ended up having to make two of them because they wouldn't all fit on one, so here, without further ado, is a recap of my trip, put to music and pictures.

Up & Down, In & Around, Upside Down & Sideways
Although this title seems like a discription of a scary ride at a theme park, I am actually talking about our life the last year.
I have been thinking about this lately due in part to some conversations I have been having with other people close to me that are dealing with their own roller coaster experiences.
I guess if we are breathing we all experience rides we would rather not take and we seem to get on these rides, not even knowing we are there until we see the track drop.
This last year it seems like we have coasted along and then out of nowhere we'd be shooting down a hill. Thankfully most of the hills have been small and it wasn't long until we were chugging up the next hill but there have been a few times that we've taken long nose dives. Those are the times that have left us screaming and holding on for dear life.
Pondering the ups and downs, I have found one constant to be there no matter what. I think you know what that constant is but as an example let me use this.
Life can be like a zig zag line. You are up and down over and over, but winding along through all the ups and downs is the constant presence of God.
What an amazing thing to know that whether you are coasting along or doing the zig zag thing, God is a constant and a constant help. The King of Kings, Lord of All, is intimately involved and wants to go on our roller coasters with us. And it's a good thing because when I'm screaming and holding on for dear life, I'm glad it's Him I'm holding on to.
Even though lately it seems as if there has been as many rocky places as smooth steps and more questions than answers most of the time, God is our hiding place and the answer to every question we could possibly come up with.
Sadly, many of our loved ones are dealing with scary or uncertain situations right now. I'm glad that I can tell them that the same constant I have, is constant for them as well.
Someone said this about suffering (I don't at all claim that what we are going through is suffering in the real sense because what we deal with is so light compared to what even people I know are dealing with, but it fits with what I'm going to say so just roll with me.)
"If we are breathing, we are going to encounter suffering because we live in a fallen and suffering world. But I'd rather trust in God and know that my suffering is being used for a greater purpose than reject God and suffer with no hope or assurance that it's not just randomly happening." In other words, we are gonna suffer whether we are christians or not, but it's a lot easier to suffer when you've got God to hold on to, and He's always there with hand reached out.
So, in closing, I know some of you (and you know who you are) are dealing with a lot and all I can say to you is, just hold on!
